Change
Most people have something in their lives they would
like to change. Some are even unhappy and complain
about certain aspects of their life.
You might be saying to yourself:
"I want to quit smoking."
"I want a better job."
"I want a bigger paycheck."
"I want to sell more."
"I want to lose weight."
"I want to spend more time with my family."
Unfortunately, most of these people will blame
outside sources for their unhappiness instead of
looking at the real source of the problem.
Themselves. They will continue to complain about
their situation thinking that the greater powers in the
world owe them something better.
Time flies by and nothing changes.
However, you do have a choice. YOU can
change
anything in your life.
You have the ability to make and embrace change in
any part of your life. You can find a new job, or talk
about problems with your current boss. You can
continue to eat junk food and sit in front of the
television, or you can start a weight loss diet and
exercise plan. You can make a plan to sell more and
work to achieve it. You can talk with your current
spouse about how to make your relationship better.
Wanna change? Sure you do.
The first step in making a change is realizing that the
choice is yours. You must believe everything that
happens in your life is a result of the choices you
make. It's up to you.
Second, you need to determine if you need help to
embrace the change in your life. You might need a
support group of people, help from friends and family,
or a book written about the subject of your change.
Most likely, someone has been where you have before
and paved the road to success. Learn from them to
make it easier on you.
Finally, you must adjust the way you think about the
change. Every action and response in life is driven by
your thought process and attitude. You can change
your life by changing your thoughts and
attitude.
Visualize what your life will be like after the change.
How will your life be improved when the change is
complete? Concentrate on the positive aspects of the
change you want. Have you lost weight and feel
healthier? Are you working at your new job and having
fun? Are you celebrating a big sale? Can you see
yourself spending time with your kids and your
spouse?
Just by visualizing where you want to be will help you
get there. Start by selecting something in your life to
change. If you are worried about failure, pick
something small to start off with. After you succeed,
pick something more difficult until you are comfortable
tackling bigger changes.
Once you succeed in changing smaller aspects of
your life, you will see clearly that anything is within your
grasp. You just have to believe in yourself.
Always remember, you have been given one of the
greatest gifts ever. The gift of choice.

Stop Watering!!
With all of the rain we have seen in the past two
weeks, this is a great tip to save on your water bill.
Turn OFF your irrigation system.
Go find your irrigation controller and turn the system to
off. It has rained enough to sustain most types of
Bermuda and St. Augustine grass for at least two to
three weeks, maybe more.
There is no reason to keep watering with your
irrigation system right now. The ground is saturated
with water. Go outside and turn your irrigation
controller to the OFF position.
"How do I know when to turn it back on," you ask?
That's easy, just watch your grass. When the edges
of the grass blade start to change to a green-ish blue,
it is time to start watering again. Also, the grass will
start to lose it softness. If you step on it and it doesn't
spring back, it's time to turn your system back on.
Checking the soil is another good way. If the soil is
dry from one to six inches down, start watering
again.
Don't forget this easy tip, turn OFF your irrigation
system and SAVE on your water bill!
